There are several instances in which replacement ships may be provided as reinforcements 1 s( z6 K6 b. X' v
if a ship is sunk during the game. Replacement ships are generated if the option is selected - X8 p+ x: i8 F
for the scenario and:1 z$ S0 x. @- c. `% u
An American CV is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by an Essex-class CV.# A4 E# _5 c" [+ |8 w7 y! H9 W9 z* a
An American or Australian CA that is sunk prior to 1944 will be replaced by a Baltimore-class
: }8 Q- { l3 @" e# b% O/ }7 W0 gCA or a Cleveland-class CL. The replacement class is chosen at random.$ f8 f g# o& n2 a
Japanese Midget Submarines will be replaced with a Type “D” Midget Submarine
