老赵以前说过不打算预研KI94的,因为跟KI83差了三四个月# S) F9 ~0 l; P4 `
而且KI94火力精度太差,用上高度优势对付奶瓶虽然大比例沾光,但是双方接战率很低,奶瓶损失其实也很小

攻击凯瑟琳机场的目的是削弱澳西附近日军可用的飞机增援,澳西的轰炸行动由于没有日军战斗机的干扰,获得完全的成功,盟军的初代B29也在这一战中首次投入了战斗,出动了近100架。1 h- H/ N7 `% M. h

不过盟军的P47D25显然没有在凯瑟琳占到任何便宜,驻守此地的大概也是日军的精锐中的精锐还乡团,雷电陷入苦战,付出重大损失后突破了日军的防线,后续跟进的4发不负重望,彻底摧毁了该机场,同时击毁了机场上大约350架以上的日军轰炸机和运输机。空战中大约有110架盟军战斗机被击落,日军大概损失了140架,盟军阵亡+失踪了50多名精锐飞行员,日军阵亡了40多飞行员,空战的结果可谓日军大胜。

大本营早在半年前已经考虑到盟军从澳西绕过来登陆的可能性,相应的措施尚算完备,从澳西发动下一步攻势对于盟军来说主要的困难在于补给线极其漫长。
