西蒙大将的大小KB都在印度洋巡游，所以TF58才会毫无顾忌在NG活动。另外，霍恩岛附近并没有适合陆攻出击的机场，至于SS，盟军的TF58在NG的时候就已经可以在SS大阵中进出自如而毫发无伤了。
