a5 D5 F$ o8 qI just had a first battle against the enemy. Don't be worried about me, i'm fine and delighted. Shot an enemy ac over the M. in my first battle! Didn't expect that would be so easy - we escorted bombers and suddently 20 enemy ac appears over us! Fortunatly i'm flying in Daitai under the I. Shibata command, one of the finest commander of mighty IJN AF. He didn't panicked and immediatelly starts the manevour we was learning and practicing las two months. We easily intercepted the enemy and engaged them. I had a mission to watch for one of two top aces in our Daitai - E. Doigawa with 11 kills. He knows no fear, i can assure you - he engaged notorious enemy ac, known as Thunderbolt. O, what our Samurais could do with such plane - Doigawa tried every trick in his book but Thunderbolt was escape every time he tried to shot down him. Somehow, the another one T-bolt suddently appears behind Doigawa and started to fire with all guns! Fortunatly, our ace is wizard, he took an evasive manevour, once then twice but T-bolt was still behind him!

I was shocked at the first time - it looked like even Dogawa couldn't do anything against those beasts, but i didn't wait for to much longer - quickly remembered what they learnt me and i approach closly to Thunderbolt and fired all my 20mm guns. And ac exploded! Perhaps we don't have such good ac as Americans, but we are highly skilled and motivated. Can't see how whites can win this war... ! t1 g" ?( W' d) p* ?( Z* E

Our moral is at highest point, even higher then it was after a visit of Honda-san just before the battle. I've heard a rumors that another Emperor's special envoy - PzB-san - visited the General issimus Pauk and expressed how the Emperor is pleased with our High Command! Anyway, Honda-san has a speech, a very inspirational speech indeed- but must admit that part of me felt it was a propaganda! But now I'm convinced - the Samurais will rule the skies for another 10 000 years!" A( p& U$ ~* a2 P* S! ]. g; _
