7a. No paradropping behind enemy lines to cut off line of retreat (by method of creating a contested hex) just for the purpose of forcing unit surrender. I.e. 150 paratroopers can't force the surrender of 50,000 infantry units in retreat. Using paratroopers to capture undefended base, even if in line of retreating unit is however perfectly acceptable.
* j9 q( J7 i7 {3 [) {# u7b. No use of construction units/base forces to create ZOC's to cut retreat paths (I had an PBEM opponent who did this).
. I6 w* s0 B4 j7c. No landings in non-base/dot hexes to cut off enemy forces (there is a hex in the PI that invites to do just this, (because Japanese forces never retreat and guns do not fire on TF's landing troops in non-base/dot hexes it is impossible to defend this hexes even if one guards them with overhelming forces, basically a cheap way for the Japanese to cut certain retreat paths)
