在CV回悉尼补充了舰载机之后,TF58开始了支援向瓜岛的补给运输行动,同时,日军也蠢蠢欲动瓜岛附近再次爆发激战....
双方投入的主要兵力+ R0 t7 l2 K8 S  Y- D- Q  p
盟军主力舰:4CV+1CVE+2BB9 f! ^, Q& B; g0 V- o4 P
日军主力舰:1CV+1CVL+1CVE+3BB
由于日军没有料到TF58会北上,日军CV去LcapBB编队,本身并没有什么直掩,被盟军舰载机痛殴,当天沉没CVL瑞凤,其他2艘航母也重伤.1 F" b- M% Y' L% b" [/ r$ F+ q
