由于战事突然,并没有太多补给库存在波纳佩,在战役过程中,补给消耗的速度大大超出当地的库存数量,因此,战役一开始,帝国就已经开始组织各种手段投送补给,但是还远远顶不上消耗的速度。此战基本宣告波纳佩守军获得外援的所有途径的断绝,剩下的只有依靠守军自身的顽强了。
