. B1 c% x# I. q& M昭和20年(1945)3月10日,古贺红叶大将于停泊在林加延锚地的旗舰大和号上召开南洋方面战备会议,有关的舰队,战队,守备队的参谋们及大本营驻联合舰队代表迁政信大佐云集联合舰队旗舰大和参加。
& i  Z4 ^* O  E2 g3 w古贺大将清了清嗓子,开始了会议议程:“现在本官来说明联合舰队司令部对目前战争形势的观测和对策”。
5 N# e( i9 E) U对于出席这次会议的参谋们来说,古贺长官所说出来的每一个字,都像一把锤子在敲打着会议室,会议室的空气被这种敲打震荡着,让人喘不过气来。9 Z0 i7 q+ f4 x3 y- \# o, g( }8 b
古贺红叶大将头一句就是这么说的:“联合舰队的兵力对美军比例已经相差了三倍以上”。
5 E! Q3 I+ V7 s! Z" X; t接下来的一句是:“而且,东帝汶外海海战的结果导致了舰队决战中心的机动部队航空兵力大量损失,现在即使我们所希望的迎击舰队决战能够进行,我们的胜算也极为低下,应该说不到一成”。
" J- t) I, q$ N" I( A9 h这是作为海军三巨头之一的联合舰队司令长官在甲午战争以后五十年来第一次公开宣称对正在进行的战争没有任何胜利信心。. n  M1 V- v! ?" l  {  @
古贺还在继续:“胜算虽然极低,但并不是完全没有。如果能够在战略上和地理上对我军有利的情况下和美军进行决战的话,哪怕是玉碎战法,也是我们唯一能够取得最大战果的机会。”2 K. W% d, g( i  L4 W! p+ R7 @; F
虽然还有点视差,但无论如何,这是日本帝国海军联合舰队第一次睁开眼睛看现实。6 p" k$ v1 g8 E! z/ d+ v# L" V
古贺红叶面对的是一个烂摊子,但有趣的是不认为这是个烂摊子的日本海军军官还不少,所以红叶大将在开会伊始,就让大家“丢掉幻想,准备玉碎”,这个崭新“玉碎战法”的名词,更是让与会的参谋们心惊肉跳

+ k' Y# ^3 B& B+ o! O7 c1 Z6 A所谓“玉碎战法”就是:“在外南洋方面寻找敌舰队主力进行决战,为此舍弃所有的海岛,基地守备队及驻防陆军,从此之后联合舰队不支援,不解救守备部队”。+ ?$ D) H5 _* q! f2 N- g# x0 K
这个意思就是:大家本是同林鸟,大限到头各自飞,现在谁也管不了谁了。现在几乎败局已定,只有能捕捉到敌舰队主力进行决战还要争取到那不到10%的胜算才能说话,否则,联合舰队已经无法照看自己所属的所有单位了。
0 P- A) V  D, I  X9 v& f. E* T5 g: M/ {担任劳腾守备任务的海军第3特战队先任参谋林中佐举起了右手,他要确认联合舰队司令部的计划,知道他们需要坚守几天:“在美军再次向南洋进攻的时候,联合舰队要多久才能赶到?”+ Y* K! g0 X2 u
联合舰队先任参谋母螺大佐说话了:“一般情况下三天,最坏的情况下七天,联合舰队一定会赶到,请等着我们,现在战况对我们非常不利,只能辛苦你们了。请把这个意思转达给部队,希望你们一定要坚持到最后”。

& v7 C- o8 x/ }; J( w5 ^: I为了压制盟军的进一步攻势,帝国集中大量轰炸机队对劳腾港北面和西面两个盟军最突出的潜在进攻出发基地进行了航空轰炸,意图拖延盟军的下一步攻势展开,当天的行动由于盟军没有及时布置直掩而取得成功,在地面上击毁盟军数十架轰炸机,但是由于盟军地面拥有的强烈AA火力,尽管突袭取得了成功,帝国也损失了不亚于盟军飞机损失数的轰炸机。但盟军两个机场都遭受到了一定程度的破坏。( A9 A# U9 G6 g/ y/ C" D

东帝汶战役以帝国惨败告终

除了在劳腾损失的重兵集团外,在dili和库旁,帝国也分别损失了相当于两个师团以上的守备战力,总损失超过10万人。负责防御东帝汶岛的第八方面军除了守备最西部roti岛的第94师团由于未遭受攻击而侥幸成建制撤离外,其余部队共计3个师团,6个独立混成旅团以及数量庞大的后勤辎重部队都未能脱离包围圈,全军覆灭。

虽然整个战役打得波澜不惊,但这却是自开战以来帝国在单次战役中损失最大的一次,也是首次出现整个方面军集团集体覆灭的战例,此战之后,盟军在此地完全站稳了脚跟,而且可以开始染指多个方向。与此相对的是,日本南方军的整体防线出现了巨大漏洞,防御正面剧增。而且由于遭受到巨大的人员和装备损失,在这条战线上的守备力量锐减,本来有限的兵力需要顾及的地方却更多,二线防御工事的修筑更加缓慢,而盟军的攻势如潮,战局逐渐由节节抵抗有序后撤恶化为毫无秩序的溃退
使用大规模杀伤性武器是完全没有人道的
盟军下一步应该在海盗航程内选择进攻基地,最大限度的利用海空优势,避免进攻日军可以利用大陆机动增援和撤退部队。如果能攻下肯达里,就可以往菲律宾方向发展了
从肯达里往菲律宾走属于中路强行突破,虽然稳当,却也容易受到两翼牵制,只能步步为营,亦无法实施跳岛战术,进展不会太快。扩大突破口是必然的,向左还是向右扩大,拭目以待。

自4月1日起,盟军印度洋58分舰队——也极有可能是英国远东舰队,被帝国飞机侦查到正在科科斯岛掩护运送陆军部队的船队,根据侦查显示,这支船队除了拥有大量运输船和护航船只外,还拥有不下300架的舰载机(其中主要构成是战斗机),是一支实力颇为可观的力量,这样一支分舰队出现在印度洋完全出乎了大本营的意料,意味着盟军不仅仅能够在东方对帝国发起大规模登陆战,而且在西线印度洋海域也开始具有登陆的实力,对于相对薄弱的西线防线来说,这支舰队出现的威胁比多出20万敌军地面部队还大。

有鉴于此,正在秘密泊地驻扎的联合舰队机动舰队不顾前一阶段作战的损失还未完全补全,人员训练还未充分的不利态势,毅然决定拔锚起航,经过4天4夜多次高速机动,连续两次海上补油,充分利用了内线作战的便利优势,油船队直接从南洋沿途各个产油地就地补充油料,几乎是一口气奔袭到科科斯岛。6 T2 x! N" `; q# p, B

唯一不确定的因素就是不清楚盟军舰队的装载速度能有多快,这支58分舰队会在当地呆几天,如果KB过去而盟军舰队正好离开,那么也只能自认倒霉,白白折腾。但是,帝国参谋们经过计算后认定,以科科斯岛具有的仅仅2级港口的吞吐能力,要装载岛上一个多师近3万人的部队和装备上船预计需要至少3~4天的时间才能全部完成,尤其盟军部队的编制中大型装备比较多,尤其不利于在这种小型环礁的港口装载,速度一定会有拖延,最后的事实证明,这个判断相当惊险——当机动舰队于4月3日傍晚抵达距离科科斯岛10多格距离的爪哇merak港时,盟军船队正好装载完成开始南下,而此时由于夜幕的掩护日军侦察机无法在侦查科科斯港的情况,机动舰队仍然对此不知情,按照原定计划于4月4日半夜抵达了预定的距离科科斯港约7格的出击阵位,并连夜做好了一切出击准备。

/ D9 W& x; _. O  R, R由于上午的攻击毕竟还是遭遇了盟军的上百架直掩机,因此攻击队还是付出了一定的损失,大约失去了一百架左右的飞机,但是跟一个月之前的boela海战相比,只付出这点损失就取得不亚于boela海战的战果,可以说面对这点损失联合舰队完全可以泰然处之。

不明白,盟军跑到这种鸟不拉屎的地方来干嘛,直接搞定劳腾了,用陆航将半径内所有日军扫到生活不能自理,然后一路平推上去就行了,没必要在印度洋上搞事啊。不做死就不会死果然是至理名言。
