日酋攻击帕果斐济的时机恰恰是原有守军紧急增援澳洲,新的部队仅少量到位的空窗期,比如帕果的主力25师就上岸了100多个步兵班,一门炮也没有,变成步枪师了,其他部队被迫返航。结果经营几个月的南太要塞被日军轻松搞掉了。
