八月风暴之风起南太平洋

7 u4 ]' w# U( Z3 P帝国在5月初相继解放斐济、萨摩亚之后,望眼浩瀚的南太平洋,有一个美丽的岛国仍然是受米英鬼畜等白种人的控制,美澳之间的输送线将仍然照常运作,这个美丽的岛国便是新西兰。

新西兰原本乃毛利人的居住地,19世纪被英帝国抢占,北岛上的奥克兰和惠灵顿都是南太少有的深水良港,尤其是奥克兰还有宝贵的船坞,这对于在整个太平洋缺少船坞的蝗军来说具有极大的诱惑力~~,岛上的土著毛利人一直有反抗白种人控制的雄心,可惜无人支持,这次蝗军的到来和毛利人一拍即合~~因此大本营从5月初开始制定解放新西兰的代号——“8月风暴”的两栖登陆计划。6 C' p$ y& t, C+ @# ]: c. P, F+ B3 O

为此,在2个多月的时间里相继从南洋和国内运到苏瓦集结了大量的部队、舰艇、燃料、补给。因为缺乏专业的两栖登陆舰艇,蝗军不得不以数量弥补质量,光运输舰就集结了200余艘~~

地面部队主要以第17军为首,包括第15师团、第40师团、第4近卫师团、第34师团为主力的近4000战力主攻,海军派出第1舰队、海航第26航空舰队作为支援。. a. }" @+ C$ _- a/ R2 C( C" ~; P

为了减少登陆损失,蝗军决定先派遣2个旅团上岸占领港口,不过拥有铁路机动优势的盟军,在蝗军第一波登陆部队上岸后及时赶到了登陆场增援,蝗军第一天的攻击以失败告终,滩头的KB和MINIKB和盟军飞机大战2天,自损近30架,击落盟军各型飞机250架,加贺中雷一枚,震怒之下的天蝗命令主力部队第3天强行登陆发动攻击,至此顺利占领新西兰第一个滩头阵地----吉尔伯恩,胜利在向蝗军招手,毛利人自发组织各种慰问团夹道欢迎~~
