西蒙大将的KB分成了3个，KB一分队在南太活动，目前正在卢干维尔巡游，KB二分队前一段时间跑到珀斯轰炸，而印度洋只剩下miniKB单独活动，乘此机会盟军的英国CV开始试探性在孟加拉湾活动。前一段时间由于英国CV空袭过全盛时候的miniKB，那时直掩机有48架零战，结果剑鱼被打火鸡，也许这就是可能西蒙大将在只有miniKB的情况下也敢自信满满地单独面对英国CV群的原因吧。可惜的是在CV对决前几天，miniKB曾经空袭过亭可马里，被飓风火鸡。以半残的miniKB未去补充零战就敢迎战齐装满员的英国装甲CV群，而且盟军CV背靠基地，有陆基提供额外的直掩。大统领认为即使不能破防，也能有效防空，因此有此战果，大统领很满意了。
