8月27日，盟军在狂轰滥炸之后再次在罗伊-纳木岛对日军阵地发起攻击，结果遭遇惨败，伤亡严重。
' W5 ]5 o' f% q4 e当天的战斗非常精彩，日军和盟军同时对岛上的友军部队展开增援并同时拦截对手的增援部队，结果双方的增援部队都未上岸即被击沉入海，有意思的是双方采取的增援手段完全不同，这些小的战术细节昭示着未来的岛礁争夺战中双方可能采取的标准作战样式。2 K# _3 q* C' i7 m
