爪哇的补给还远远不够，这么久时间日军没有封锁爪哇，其实够弄很多上去了。选择万隆是没错的，不过要注意在南面和西南的邻接山地也放一些部队，这样可以使日军包围成本大大上升，而不包围的话，爪哇必须大量驻军，南方军主力就没法抽调到其他地方去，盲目抽调攻打印度或者澳洲，将使盟军有可能在42年反攻南洋。所以日军最低限度也需要包围万隆，求稳的会选择尽全力拿下，以确保一个相对安全的南洋。
