莫港战役前后持续了约半个月,其间盟军的战斗机,潜艇和大艇给日军造成了很大的损失,58在拉包尔以企业号为代价歼灭了日军的MiniKB数艘航空母舰,由于KB的全员到达继续增援莫港已经不现实。日军也集结了远超历史数量的日军进行珊瑚海战役,5,6个师团的日军在现阶段是很难阻挡的。9 c$ v' f, u% k: u
