苏联德占区原有上千万人口，就地征用本不困难，衣服不同口粮，一套就够勉强过冬了，所以这个主要还是斯大林残酷的坚壁清野造成的，历史上坚壁清野战术不是没人用过，但还没有人敢于在这么大区域实行，实际上最后挨冻的苏联百姓比德军数目还多，这得说不是斯大林，就元首来说都不可能这么干。
